I suddenly remember this piece of video work by an artist whose name I've completely forgotten and may experiment on a little something based on it. The video loops a string of paint being poured onto a black background, basically the pouring lasts for as long as the video is playing (it's a neverending loop), sometimes the paint changes colour and changes the overall appearance of the paint 'goop', but the shape and size of the paint 'goop' remains pretty much the same during the entire video. Only thing changing are the changing colours.
(if anybody knows the name of the artist/work, be sure to let me know btw)
So anyway, I was thinking of doing something similar. Pour some paint on the lino floor in the studio. Let it dry, and then pour some more, so that it grows thicker. The idea is that I will pour a new layer every day.
edit: nope, turns out that it's a shitty idea, somebody from the other end of the the same floor is is doing/had done something extremely similar.
