john baldessari: pure beauty
Saw John Baldessari: Pure Beauty from the Tate Channel during the second half of studio yesterday. It was an interesting insight into his perception on (well, maybe on too broad a scale) art and a peek at his artistic practice.
A part that really got me was the whole idea of 'cremating' one's artwork. It's because I've had something like that happen to me before, 'cept unlike Baldessari, it was completely unintentional. tl;dr, my external hard-drive fried.
